Your adventure awaits…
As part of the Trafford Libraries Summer Reading Challenge “Story Garden” 2025 we ran a Twine coding course at Urmston and Sale Libraries for young people aged 11-18.
Twine is a simple mark up language which can be used to easily develop interactive fiction similar to “choose your own adventure” books. It also has more advanced features which can be used to develop sophisticated text based adventures.
Our students took part over three weeks, starting with some of the basics and then moving on to the more complex features as we went on.
Here are some examples of the students superb work developed over the course, it includes their own stories, writing, coding and even illustration.
